About Me

IMG_6332Hello and welcome to Vexentricity! I am Kat Kingsley-Hughes – longtime writer, courseware developer and transmedia producer. These days though I have switched more to working with people instead of just sitting with documents all day. I coach writers and other creatives in releasing blocks. I also work with hypnotherapy clients and teach mindfulness. I do still write every day!

About me

I enjoy photography, singing and ambient music. I have a passion for growing vegetables and living an outdoor life. I love 5 rhythms dance, yoga and Hakomi. When I have time I like to draw and paint. My favourite holiday destination is probably camping!

My very first book was published in 1996 and since then I’ve had over thirty more published.  I also write articles for magazines, journals and various online outlets.

I am available for occasional work as an editor, tech editor or researcher on outside projects for writers, production companies and publishers. Please enquire on the contact form.

I am a full member of the Writer’s Guild of Great Britain.

Courseware and Training

In the past I taught at several colleges and training institutions. In 1997 I began developing online courseware for Ziff-Davis University (ZDU). I later instructed courses at Smart Planet, Element K, CNET and BNU. I still occasionally develop teaching materials privately for use in selected distance and in-person learning environments. Please contact me via email or on Twitter.

I welcome comments and feedback.
